This listing is for a 2000 Sea Ray 290 Amberjack (30') This boat is a USCG Documented Vessel and Documentation is Current for 2017 OK, one more time - This is a great boat in good condition, with LOTS of GEAR! I do want a smaller boat on a trailer, so I am willing to consider trades. This is my last time listing the boat. I plan to be at the boat later this week, and would be glad to show it -- email me. This will be my last time listing it on eBay. I have to clean it up and move it into brokerage before I leave the area. I have had so much interest, but nobody has come to see the boat and I am getting tired of "tie kickers" emailing me with no real intent on purchasing. This is a great boat and I dare anyone to show me a similar boat, with as low hours, and all of the gear and equipment, for anywhere near the price! I want the boat to go ta good home and I don't want "stick" anybody with something they do not want. If you bid / purchase the boat on eBay and come see it --- and it is not all that I have said -- I will gladly give you your deposit back. A purchase through eBay and paying the deposit just shows me that you are serious and intend to follow-through. Now about the boat... This boat has been in freshwater most of the time I have had it. I took it to the Chesapeake Bay last Fall and had planned to put it on the lower Chesapeake Bay, where I had another larger boat, but plans have changed. It has not been launched this season, but was professional laid-up before last Winter with full stabilization of fuel system. The boat is setup for offshore fishing with an illuminated livewell, rod holders, rod storage, bait station with sink, and outriggers. The rear bench seat is removable to add a fighting chair or to get closer to the stern. I had recently purchased and had a generator installed, it has air conditioning with reverse cycle heat, a fantastic Furuno navigation system with 36 mile radar, has a stabilized TV system installed (with 36" TV in salon), removable roll-on stern davits for storing an inflatable boat, and has many, many other features. It also has a full canvas enclosure with "U-Zip" windows and screen inserts for the windshied area. All of the best equipment is on this boat. The boat is currently in Solomons Island, MD and on the hard. I am lowering the starting bid price and want this great boat sold! I am willing to take a big loss and have somebody get a great deal and great boat -- if you are willing to buy it and keep me from dealing with all of the cleaning and hassle. I know of no issues with the boat or engines and the boat was fully inspected and serviced in the Spring. It is sold AS-IS WHERE IS and without warranty from me. If you come see the boat and it is not as I have described, I will not force you to follow through and will return your deposit. This is, I believe, the best equipped Amberjack anywhere! The boat is the "Amberjack" model and was sold as a fishing model with fish box, livewell, bait station, rod holders, and outriggers. I have never used this for fishing, as a matter of fact, this boat was primarily a recreational boat on the Potomac, outside of DC for my family for the last 10+ years with very little use, but professionally maintained. The boat can carry about double the fuel of the Sundancer series boats and is considerably wider (beamier) to accommodate offshore sea conditions. It has twin Mercruiser gas (raw water cooled) engines. I was planning to install the freshwater cooling conversion kits to the engines once on the Bay, but had not done that yet. Both engines have just been thoroughly checked and tuned-up. Because the previous service provider did not properly clear the fuel system before storage, I just replaced both fuel pumps, injectors, and cleaned / flushed the entire fuel system. I purchased a 12kw Furuno open-array scanner for the boat but have not yet installed it. I understand the high power open array is better for fishing and spotting birds etc.. If you want the larger open array scanner instead of the current enclosed dome, I am glad to provide it. At this point, I am moving in December and need to move the boat and go on to other things. I don't want to be dealing with this next Spring with a broker. Also, the lower units may appear a little "funky" in the photos. Both units were pulled and fully inspected and some gears pro-actively replaced, and outdrives painted. The paint has not adhered well and they are not the prettiest, but work well and have no known issues. I am moving, have multiple boats and need to simplify. I can't give this boat away, but if you want a great boat with lots of the best gear aboard -- please consider this boat. I am glad to meet serious buyers and show the vessel, and have a sea-trial (if purchaser pays to launch / recover and re-winterize if you don't purchase) but please ask all questions before bidding / purchasing. I have listed this boat at, what I believe to be, a fantastic price. If you want to make me an offer to "Buy It Now", please email me and I will contact you. Again, my desire is to be rid of lots of my stuff as soon as possible, so taking immediate possession and cash offers motivate me. My loss is your gain. Please review my feedback and bid with confidence. Almost all of my transactions are purchases and everything I have sold on Ebay are personal possessions and were used by me. I have been looking for the list of equipment and will try to post that soon. I have all of the original Sea Ray paperwork and books, along with all system instruction books, in a Sea Ray briefcase on the boat. I also have some spare carpet for the boat and a second set of original Sea Ray replacement vinyl windows with lost of spare canvas (including a winter storage cover.) There is more in the used value of the parts than the starting bid price! Note: The Zodiac tender and outboard motor pictured in one of the photos is not included. And, I know everybody likes to bid in the last minutes of an auction, but obviously I really don't want this boat to sell for the minimum. I reserve the right to end the auction early if there are still no bids 24 hours before the end of the auction. This boat is also offered for sale locally at a higher price. Look at my feedback and history.
