1983 Capital Yachts Newport 41' sloop

1983 Capital Yachts Newport 41' sloop

This is a very well maintained, must-see vessel in EXCELLENT condition in Los Angeles, slipped at MDR (Marina Del Rey, CA)! The owner is not intending to replace it, so the boat does not need to be moved, at least for as long as the buyer wishes to keep it there and assuming the transfer of the slip lease is approved. An MSR (Marine Survey Report) conducted 3 1/2 yrs ago, is available for inspection, and documents that the vessel was and still is in excellent condition inside and out. In fact the boat is in better condition now than it was back then, as many improvements have been made since. Much of the equipment and hardware has been replaced, or is in like-new condition. Owner is willing to make boat available anytime for a serious prospective buyer to get a current MSR, at their expense. General maintenance and cosmetics were found to high standards. The mast and rigging was completely overhauled, and the deck and mast repainted. All wood has been recently varnished and refinished. ...

Catalina 25 sailboat, PoPTop Make offer

For sale by owner. Can be viewed by appointment. Please contact 228-313-1631. 9K value, make offerReason for "Sale", I bought a Allmand 31 Live Aboard and now moving up again to a 45' off the grid live aboard. Catalina 25 is truly an American classic and one of the most popular mid-sized sloops on the water today. Beginning in 1978, Catalina produced the C25 all the way through 1994. Itís a spacious, user-friendly family cruiser that could very well also be a weekend racer. This particular Cat 25 is configured as the shoal draft swing keel. The Catalina 25 has a shallow but comfortable cockpit. Steering is controlled by the tiller and stern-mounted rudder. The companionway is wide which makes stepping below a breeze, which is not always the case in small boats. Once below decks, youíll find the interior is very spacious and user-friendly. The layout includes a V-berth forward followed by an enclosed head. The saloon has two opposite settees and the galley is aft to port with a comfortable ...

Norman Cross 24 sailboat trimaran multihull Hurricane Matthew Salvage

Norman Cross 24 sailboat trimaran multihull Hurricane Matthew Salvage

Cross 24 built of marine plywood and epoxy. Fast, fun little boat. Capable of long distance sailing with quality repairs. Went up on some pilings in Matthew. Further damaged when recovered and existing damage to mast step uncovered when derigged. Needs probably 2-3 weeks of full time work to get back sailing and maybe $1000 in materials. Comes with older but useable main and jib sails. Mast and all rigging, 4 winches included. Would cost you a few years and $8-10,000 to minimum to build. Parts with winches, boom, hatches are worth way more as parts than bid. But myself and previous owner want to see go to a good home. I can assist with loading but you need to bring a trailer. Been storing for a friend. They have clear title which will transfer to you. Previous winner did not come pickup. If you win, must be picked up before Christmas or $90/ mo storage applies. Really donít want to have to scrap this tri with great potential.

1980 Bounty North Atlantic 29 Chinese Junk Rig Cruising Boat motor runs GREAT NR

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Here is a link to see the motor running on youtube: https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=2_aW4XK IfE&feature=youtu.b From a fellow cruiser on cruisers forum :"The original owner of this boat was a good friend of mine. The boat was modeled after "JESTER" which I believe won the first solo trans Atlantic race. The original owner intended to do the OSTAR but was rolled in a bad storm several days fromBermuda. He reported the boat took on absolutely no water but broke several battens so he abandoned the attempt. He solo sailed it several times from Annapolisto Bermuda and back. It is a go anywhere Bluewater boat and quite fast." I actually have some photos of her construction and a few cruising logs from one of the original owner's trips to Bermuda
