50 Foot Custom Cold Molded Camper Nicholson
Axel Heyst is a classic ocean racing boat that was one of the early applications of light weight cold molded construction. This boat was built to take part in the OSTAR (Observer Single Handed TransAtlantic Race) but was not completed in time. She made her way to the United States and has had a long racing career. This is a very well built boat that is lots of fun to sail and can win races. I have raced her off shore in some pretty significant conditions and she hasn't complained at all. At one point (with a prior owner, decades ago) she was dismasted and rerigged with what is essentially a "turboed" deck-stepped SC-50 rig and an oversized pole (the prior rig was a yawl). She has been to the Caribbean, and to Hawaii in the Pacific Cup. She rates 96 in PHRF, but with a little wind can blow the doors off of a J-105. In fact, once I sailed well ahead of and around the front of the entire San Francisco J-105 fleet! With a bunch of wind this boat will surf in the mid teens. A project boat, ...

Trimaran in Maine, probuilt/foam core
38' Harris, foam core, cruising trimaran FS This is not a amateur built boat, she was built by a boat builder for himself and the Craftsmanship is seen throughout. This is a foam core, offshore cruiser. She has a comfortable aft cabin, two sets of bunkbeds forward, huge cockpit, very wide CANTED amas with a walkway forward. Her sails have very little use and she spent 20 years in fresh water at Toronto Multihull, Club. She has US papers but was built in Canada, so she was registered in Canada for those years. . She has newer pictures on you tube under Harris and can be found by searching for Harris trimaran. There isn't a trimaran under a $100,000 that will hold a candle to her and she is priced much less. She has a survey by multihull surveyor "John Marples" with a current market value of $65k and is currently insured. I will consider a trailerable multihull in trade. Includes never started 3 cly yanmar diesel ($8000), I have removed the old engine and prepped the engine compartment for ...

Sailboat Arvid Laurin 28ft cutter 1973, Isla Mujeres Mexico.
condition: excellent engine hours (total): 2200 length overall (LOA): 28 make / manufacturer: Arvid/Havskryssare model name / number: Laurin propulsion type: sail year manufactured: 1973 Inbox for phone or alternative means of contact. Offers will be considered. I am regretfully selling this north sea cruiser as I have to return to the UK, but she is in great working condition and ready to sail immediately. She was built in 1973 by Noorlandsplast in Sweden, when fibreglass was a new technology and yachts were typically built with thicker fibreglass than modern boats. This was at a time when little was known about quite how strong the material was, and this overcompensation produced an extremely strong hull that has easily withstood the years with no compromises or cracks. Since buying her we have purchased a new jib, but she is also equipped with a baby staysail and a storm jib. The 20hp volvo penta engine has just over 2000 hours on the clock and has had a lot of work done on it to put ...
