Ebay makes you put a number and I took a guess. These boats went into production in 1961 and are still being made today (see http://www.torresen. com/butterfly/butte fly.php?p=home)This boat is in usable condition. everything works. Just took her sailing with the kids during the labor day weekend. I bought it used and sailed it twice. Hull does have hairline cracks in the gel-coat which can probably be made better with a good polish. The pictures tell the whole story. The bottom has seen its share of abuse, and the boat does take on water when sailing, but we have not let this stop us. I am sure this is due to a small crack that I have not taken the time to find. The fiberglass is good, no soft spots. When I got the boat the front stay was missing and there was no plug in the back. Purchased both but never used them. Made my own stay and used a piece of duct-tape to plug the drain hole in the transom. I have included these with the boat when it sells. Dagger board has a hairline crack that has been re-glued but could use some TLC. Sail is missing 1 of 3 battons but is still usable. Boat includes, daggerboard, sail, rudder, hull, stays, mast, boom. Everything you need to take it right to the water. The picture of the boat in the water is from last weekend. This boat is ready to sail today and would look great on any beach! There is no trailer with this boat, I have carried it in the back of my pickup. Please ask all questions before bidding as this boat is being sold as is where it is and must be picked up within 7 days of the auction ending.
