We are selling our much loved and sturdy Dual Helm 1978 Carver Voyager 3326. We have downsized our new boat a bit to match our needs. The things we loved about the carver are the flat surfaces from the aft to the additional helm station below. while working the Downriggers and fishing gear there is no traversing stairs or entryways. The large patio style sliding door makes this a joy for any sportsman. We are including the Downriggers with the sale. We enjoyed the oversized refrigerator, which means you don't have to bring ice every time you go to the boat. It has room for all your groceries. In the kitchen there is also an electric stove and with three burners, a broiler and an oven. The bench seating at the expandable Kitchen table provides an additional sleeping (We have these cushions too) area and tons of counter space. we used it for family gaming and comfortable dining. The Boat has Twin OMC GM 350 cu Engines that run clean and idle like a dream. Recent upgrade are HEI Ignition, which adds reliability; lowered consumption, and HP. The advantages to chevy 350 engines are obvious; mechanics are experienced with them, Parts are easily found and reasonably priced. Belts, and filters are found at Walmart! Thru hull exhaust, provides a nice rumble without silencing any conversation. Twin "V" Velvet drive (Serviced recently by skipper buds). Easy winter storage, completed by using the installed Exhaust Manifold Engine Block Water drain Petcock Valves. Just open the valves with the twist of the hand and drain the water. Re-fill with environmentally safe coolant and away you go. This saves on maintenance, time, costs and adds value. Blow the water lines with a compressor. Drain the Sea Strainer for the AC/Heat. Bingo! The Chaise style seating at the upper helm adds more comfort. Docking is a breeze with the unobstructed views provided by the operational upper helm (I use the inside lower helm, so I can help with the lines). The powerful motors in combination with the low idle make docking, even in tight gas dock/pump-outs easy. She has no bathroom odor. I installed a new Hot Water heater last season. The stand-up shower is a refreshing way to clean up on your weekend excursions. I installed the surged carpet and all new handmade nautically themed Curtains recently. Also included, a new Three layer Foam Mattress in the forwards berth which has a wooden door for privacy, and a separate control for the working AC/Heat. All Beautifully detailed Maple wood trim and panelling inside. Doors are Polished maple. The upper helm has a good Bimini top and windshield/privacy cover. We had them made new since we have owned the boat (Starting in 2012). There once was a full canvas cover with Isinglass for the upper helm, but a storm ruined it. We do not have the Upper enclosure, and simply remove the bimini top to use the upper helm (Roll it up to the front, then roll it back when done). Inside the spacious main area, we had mounted a TV across from the sturdy steel framed pull out couch. When the Metal blinds are closed and the curtains drawn, you have complete privacy. There is ample lighting with the many 12v overhead lighting lamps. Another Upgrade is the XANTREX Battery charger; http://www.xantrex.c om/power-products/b ttery-chargers/true harge-2-2.aspx It has a modern charger installed; and can be programmed for any type of battery. This charger has a bonus remote helm located digital battery indicator called a "Xantrex Truecharge2 Remote Panel" Currently there are three nice sized - all matching - Duralast 12V Batteries. The Bottom Coat was professionally done last year. She is Very spacious and stable. The Beam is 12' The Fiberglass for this freshwater / Lake Michigan only boat, is thicker than modern boats. The methods have changed and these are hand laid fiberglass hulls. She in Southport Marina https://spmarina.net/ Closest to the fence near the Water. You will go past the open parking gates to right of the offices. Follow the fence to the right. and there is an opening (Gate) in the back southwest end. Along the fence is are small grassy parking "Ends" to make structure of the normal car parking area (This area is used to store boats in the off season). From the back gate the boat is along the grassy parking bumper - third or so in and covered with a Tarp, Bungees, and Zip ties to make it all covered. I drove this boat to the Pump-out and then to the crane Pickup/launch last season (& Fogged the motors)the same as I have done for years and she is running fine. I suspect this will sell for the $8000 and she is available to see Until 4 or so Daily. From the auction reaction, I expect I will need to be available for Show on Saturday. I will call your number when I arrive. The guys driving the boat pickup trailer to and from the launch will tell you where to find it too. They should know me. She is located in Kenosha Wisconsin at Southport Marina. The launch has been paid for. Launching will simply entail; Charging the batteries, putting in the single plug. Scheduling a launch. We do not intend to sea trial her, and the purchase is as is. We will start the motors (They run fine) and you can examine prior to completion. I am only asking for $100 Deposit, if you back out, If I have incurred no expense to show you the boat (Except time), you can have it back. New Ebay users with no or near 0 purchases will not be granted the 1 week to pay and must pay in full the first business day. This one week to pay only applies to Ebay users with a purchase history, and I reserve the right to re-list based on your ebay history, and my prerogative. If I feel you are playing me I will relist or take the next highest bidder. I don't have time for games and want you to have a great experience the same goes for myself. I require the full sum with 1 week of sale completion. You will need to insure at that point. If you intend on berthing at Southport; Contact www.spmarina.net This is a roomy boat for a family, or couple who are interested in boating, without taking on a loan. She Shines up very nicely and the teak and bright-work add to the charm. She is a good runner and will make a fine home for it's next family. I have her wrapped in canvas and will unwrap when bids are showing and someone requests a viewing. She is on the hard and the Marina has the keys. I have a clean title and took some pictures of the title, to show at the Saturday showing in 2 hours from now. Have a great day. Make your bid today. your new friends are waiting for you!
